Please read these Terms of Use carefully before downloading or using the HowFast application. By downloading, installing, or using HowFast, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DtimesTwo Technologies LLC ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the HowFast mobile application (the "App"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms of Use, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
These Terms apply to all versions of the App, including the free version and HowFast Pro, across all supported platforms including iOS and Android.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, DtimesTwo Technologies LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

HowFast offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("HowFast Pro") that unlocks additional features including OBD-II gear detection, multi-run comparison, unlimited vehicle profiles, and CSV export. The following terms apply to this purchase:
HowFast is intended for use at sanctioned drag strips and closed-course motorsport facilities. You agree to use the App only in environments where high-speed vehicle operation is legally permitted and properly supervised.
You must not use the App:
Important: Drag racing and high-performance driving are inherently dangerous activities. HowFast is a performance prediction and data logging tool. It is not a safety device and must never be relied upon to make safety-critical decisions.
You acknowledge and agree that:
HowFast generates elapsed time (ET) predictions based on vehicle parameters, atmospheric conditions, and historical run data. These predictions are estimates only. Actual performance will vary based on factors including but not limited to driver skill, track preparation, tire condition, mechanical variables, and real-time environmental conditions.
We do not warrant that ET predictions, split times, trap speeds, gear readings, density altitude calculations, or any other data generated by the App will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose including bracket racing dial-in decisions. You use all App-generated data at your own discretion and risk.
HowFast supports connectivity with third-party hardware including OBD-II adapters (OBDLink MX+, vLinker FD+, and ELM327-compatible devices) and external GPS receivers (RaceBox Mini, Mini S, Micro, Qstarz BL-1000GT, and BL-818GT). The following applies to all third-party hardware used with the App:
The App, including its name, logo, design, source code, algorithms, user interface, and all content within it, is the exclusive property of DtimesTwo Technologies LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
The HowFast name and logo are trademarks of DtimesTwo Technologies LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, logos, or other brand features without our prior written consent.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us regarding the App may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.
The free version of HowFast displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free version of the App, you consent to the display of advertisements. Purchasing HowFast Pro permanently removes all advertisements from the App.
We are not responsible for the content of advertisements displayed by AdMob, nor for any products or services advertised within the App. Interactions with advertisements are solely between you and the advertiser.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DtimesTwo Technologies LLC expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In those jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DtimesTwo Technologies LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to:
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App exceed the amount you paid for HowFast Pro, or fifty US dollars ($50.00) if you have not made any purchase, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DtimesTwo Technologies LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated these Terms or that your use of the App poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with local laws to the extent applicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the App or via the App Store update notes.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
